Please be as specific as possible when discussing your needs; we use this information when interviewing potential candidates.  Once we receive your information, we will call you to set up a family interview.  One of our matching consultants will come to your house and discuss further your specific needs, meet the children, and take a tour of the home.  Any information gathered during the family interview is solely used for the purpose of matching your family with the perfect nanny and will not be used for any other purpose.

After the family interview, we begin our search and start interviewing potential candidates.  We then complete all necessary background and reference checks.  Once we are satisfied with our selected candidates, we will contact you for interview times and ensure all the candidates are available at the same time.  After the interview, we’ll discuss your opinions and impressions, feedback, and other related issues.

Once the match is complete and you are satisfied with your selection, we require the placement fee within five days of the nanny commencing employment with your family.  Please make the check out to Professional Family Consultants, LLC.  We also accept credit cards through our website.

The experience and training of each candidate is scrutinized to ensure their background matches the needs of your child.  We specifically look for behavior modification strategies, special needs training, discipline techniques, and goal setting styles.  Candidates are encouraged to attend regular training sessions designed to increase their skills and stay abreast of industry knowledge.

                                                         Personalized Attention

Professional Family Consultants works with your family to match specialized nannies to meet your needs. PFC will personally meet with your family to assess the needs of the children. PFC will collaborate with your family to determine the best possible match. When you engage the services of PFC, you can rest assured that you will be receiving not only the best customer service but also a dedicated, detailed and personal experience that will leave you feeling relieved and confident your children are being cared for in the hands of a compassionate, experienced professional.

Families have the option of receiving quarterly comprehensive reports from PFC regarding the progression and development of your children. These reports identify strengths, weaknesses, growth areas and goals for the children and the family.

Nannies work with the families to develop consistent routines, meal plans and developmentally-appropriate activities to enhance the children and families' quality of life.  PFC nannies are trained to run errands, help with household management and cook and clean as needed. Our goal is for your nanny to become a part of your family,  so it's not uncommon for nannies to work for one family for as long as needed and then for the relationship to continue long after the children become adults.

PFC also provides highly-qualified domestic childcare for families on an as-needed or part-time basis and for families who are not seeking specialized services.  Additionally, PFC offers housekeepers, personal assistants, estate managers, personal chefs and groundskeepers.

                                            Service/Placement Fees

To engage our services there is a $200 initial membership fee. This retains our services and covers extensive background checks, credit checks, reference checks, and interviewing of potential candidates as well as the initial family screening interview by one of our licensed professionals.

The nanny and the family mutually agree on a salary. After this is agreed, PFC receives a placement fee of 15% of the nanny's annual compensation package (if the Nanny is paid hourly PFC calculates the hourly rate as an annual salary) prior to the Nanny commencing employment.  The minimum placement fee is $1500. PFC always will work with families on a sliding scale basis and or use a monthly installment method of payment as needed.  This is a one time fee, which also covers any replacement needed within the first 90 days of service. PFC is always available to answer questions and provide consulting services to families throughout the entire employment of staff members.
