Position: Nanny position with a lovely family in Mableton, GA

Hours: Minimum hours are M-F 3:00 pm - 6:30 pm 5 days a week.  If the nanny is interested in more hours, the family can accommodate and will assign nanny tasks such as grocery shopping, light cleaning, and running errands. The position is roughly 20-25 hours a week. The family also has 3-4 nights a week where the nanny will have to stay until 9:00 pm or 10:00 pm.

Location: Mableton, GA (Symrna area)

Salary: depends on experience, requirements and family fit.

Description: There are 3 children, 10, 8, and 6. The 10 yr. old is diagnosed with ADD and takes medication. The nanny must be able to set clear boundaries and implement structure.  The nanny will be in charge of their after-school schedule and must have an understanding of the family dynamics.  The family is interested in hiring someone who desires to become a part of their family, who is loving and warm, and is proactive in knowing what is needed around the house. Some light cooking is required-the nanny will help prepare dinner and pick up after the kids afterwards. The nanny also must have a clean driving record as they will have to pick the kids up from school. The most important aspect of the care giver is someone who really takes the time to understand each child and the needs of busy parents.

The family also has a spare guestroom and bathroom in the basement and can accommodate a live-in arrangement for the right person.

Special Needs: The oldest child had ADD and takes medication.

Required Experience: The nanny must have experience caring for children with ADD, implementing structure and have a college-degree. A fair understanding of rewards and consequences is a plus. The nanny must be proactive, forward thinking, and have the ability to work with children one-on-one.

Position: Part-Time After-School Nanny M - Th and occasional Fridays-flexibility is a must!

Hours: M-Th 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm, occasional Fridays and occasional weekends

Location: Dunwoody, GA

Salary: Depends on Experience but negotiable!

Description: There are 4 children ages 10, 8, and two 5 year-old twins. The nanny is expected to get the children off the bus, help with homework, provide snacks, and pick up after the children. The nanny may help with dinner depending on the parent's schedule. 

Experience Required:

-The nanny must be college-educated in a child-focused discipline
-Have child care and/or nanny experience
-Have experience caring for children with ADHD, developmental delays, and sensory integration issues
-Be very structured, caring, organized, and have experience tutoring children and providing educational activities.
-Have a clean background and good references

Position: After school Nanny M-Th and every other Friday (FILLED)

Hours: 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm M-Th and 12:00 - 5:00 pm every other Friday

Location: Marietta, Georgia

Salary: Depends on Experience

Description: Family in Marietta is seeking an afterschool nanny to pick their three year-old up from school Mondays through Thursday and care for him until the five o'clock when the mother gets home from work.  The child is very active so the family needs someone who is energetic and can keep up!

Special Needs: The child has a hearing impairment and received OT and PT at school.  The Nanny will be expected to attend some OT sessions to learn more about his needs.  The Nanny should have some experience with hearing impairment issues, understand the basics of OT, and be able to implement some of the techniques learned at OT in the home.

Description:  A unique position is available to work 3 nights a week, caring for a 5-year-old with autism.  The Nanny's primary responsibility will be to assist with dinner and bedtime routines.   Once the child is asleep (around 8:00pm), the Nanny needs to simply be in the home and available for emergencies.  A guestroom is available for the Nanny to sleep.

Qualifications:  The family seeks someone who understands autism and has the ability to fully meet the child's needs.  The family is looking for a Nanny who is respectful, kind, loving, and reliable.

Position: Part-Time Live-Out Nanny (FILLED)

Hours: M - F 2:30 - 6:30 with potential to become a full-time position for the right person.

Location: Sandy Springs, Georgia

Description: Traditional family with four children seeks a part-time nanny to join their family in the afternoons to help with the children.  Nanny must have experience working with behavior modification, ADHD, ODD, and be able to provide structure.  Family is interested in developing a long-term relationship with a nanny as well as having someone who can be a supportive role model and positive influence on the children.  The position involves transportation to and from activities, light housekeeping (picking up after the children), assistance with dinner, and putting the children to bed. 

Children: There are four children ages 10 (girl), 8 (boy), 6 (girl), and 5 (boy).  The focus of the assignment will be working with the oldest child who has ADHD and ODD. 

Certifications and Qualifications: The nanny's degree should be in a child-focused degree such as social work, psychology, child and family development or similar field.  The nanny should have experience in a mental health setting, working with children with special needs, or in a counseling role.

The position would involve transportation to activities, supervision of homework, and thoughtful and creative activities for the children. Special attention and expertise needed to care for the autistic child.  Candidates should be experienced in ABA and/or direct care of autistic children.

Children: There are 3 children ages 7, 3, and 10 months.  The three year old has PDD, NOS (Autism) and is non-verbal.  She can communicate slightly through sign language and is energetic and enjoyable.  The nanny must have special needs experience and preference is given to those possessing experience working directly with autistic children.

Certifications and other Qualifications: Prefer ABA certification and floor time certification.  Nanny must be college-educated and have experience with special needs children.  Must have own insurable transportation.
